The Lifegiving Process
The World’s Best Hemp-Based Products
Contrary to what some might say, hemp and thus CBD are not all the same. At Lifegiving Botanicals, we seek partners and sources that have a passion for excellence across the board. This means we find the right companies to keep quality at the highest level.
We’ve Partnered With the Finest
To further our mission of creating the world’s best CBD products, we choose our partners very carefully. After extensive due-diligence, our team decided to partner with the largest grower, manufacturer and distributor of hemp-derived phytocannabinoids in the U.S. This partner makes the raw hemp compounds we use in our products.
The innovative and thorough product development team ensures that every single ingredient used is meticulously sourced and lab tested. Our partner directly plays a large role in developing every single product and insists on collaborating with the best of the best to ensure the product formulations are the highest quality possible.

The 7-Step Process for the Highest Quality CBD
The ways to take advantage of CBD’s benefits are endless. This is why our sources search far and wide to provide our customers and partners with exciting new products. We’re continuously searching for new technologies to ensure we only use the best available sources and ingredients. Take advantage of our current products and keep and watch for what’s coming soon.
Step 1: Superior Farming
Every product starts with natural proprietary strains of hemp that are high in CBD. All of the hemp we use is grown in nutrient-rich soil in the United States. Our partner farmers operate under strict guidelines and we take advantage of a state-of-the-art farming process. Not only does this enhance the quality of our natural proprietary strains, but it also makes sure our products are safe, regulated and unsurpassed in their potency and consistency.
Step 2: Raw Hemp Processing
The plants we use are dried and warehoused after they are harvested. When we need a plant for production, it is milled into a coarse powder. The milling process adheres to the highest standards in the industry. Once processed, it is shipped to our partners processing and manufacturing facility here in Colorado.
Step 3: Proprietary Extraction
Our partners use a proprietary hemp extraction and purification process that involves supercritical CO2, a commonly used method of extraction. This makes sure that many of hemp’s beneficial phytocannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids are preserved in the process. The result? The highest quality broad spectrum hemp oil available.
While CBD on its own offers many benefits, a growing body of research has found that a broad spectrum product leads to multiplying benefits. This is called the entourage effect.
But the process isn’t quite done. Once extracted, undesirable plant solids like waxes are removed from the oil
Step 4: Separation
Before further refinement, the hemp extract is separated from the supercritical CO2 used in the extraction process. Once this step is completed, the CO2 is recycled and used again in the distillation process.
Step 5: THC Removal and Refining
One of the most important steps in the process is to extract even the most minute traces of THC. THC is the compound found in cannabis that produces the “high” associated with the plant .Our partners use proprietary technology to remove unwanted compounds still present in the oil. These compounds include wax, chlorophyll, plant pigments and trace amounts of THC. It is then “washed” and “polished.”
As you can see on our lab reports, our products contain no detectable THC.
Step 6: Third-Party Lab Testing
Every batch of product goes through rigorous third-party lab testing. Our source tests every production run for quality and potency. This makes sure that the cannabinoids, terpenes, essential fatty acids and phytonutrients are consistent. It also ensures that our products are free from contaminants like pesticides and solvents.
Step 7: Our sources Proprietary Nanoemulsion Technology
Our softgels require our oil to go through another processing step. The raw hemp oil goes through a proprietary process that transforms it into nano-sized emulsions. This makes it the most bioavailable broad spectrum CBD in the industry.
Our competitors’ hemp oil particles are anywhere between 100 and 1000 nanometers in size. Our particles are around 25. This small size leads to much more effective absorption.
This nanoemulsion process can make our softgel formulas at least two times more bioavailable than oil-based products. In addition to our nanoemulsion process, our partners use other proprietary technology to create the water-soluble hemp powder used in our dog treats and energy mix — since your body has difficulty absorbing oil, this water-soluble format is also more bioavailable than standard hemp oil.
What does this mean for you? You can use less of the product made with these processes to achieve the same level of benefit as the products sold by most of our competitors.
Better process, better products, better results.
